Coffee Day at Northbridge Village 18th August 2015

Some 28 of our members enjoyed a great day at this lovely lifestyle village. Some 40 - 50 residents joined-us to share the music and the camaraderie. A big thank you to Jim Nicholson, our resident host and Club member, and to Northbridge's Pat Waite for working with our Events Manager, Diane Lyons, to set-up this wonderful day. As always a big thank you to the Committee members for making everything flow smoothly and to all our playing members who came along to share the fun and share their music.

Club Night 4th August 2015

One of our best evenings ever! Great music from our members in the first half and then two
World Class artists as our second-half guests. A good sized attendance for this very special Club Night despite the wintry weather outside.
In the first half, arrival music was provided by Claude Moffat on our Clavinova and followed by: John Beales (Korg Pa500); Claude Moffat (Clavinova CVP-509); Barbara McNab (Clavinova); and then Rod (Korg Pa3X 76 note) and Nelleke Moffat (jazz vocal).
After a refreshments break it was time to welcome our guest artists, Nick Jones on electric and acoustic violins accompanied by Ben Fernandez on our Clavinova CVP-509. What a wonderful Concert and Nick and Ben have given permission for the Concert to be captured on video as a lasting memory of a very special occasion.
As always a big thank you to the door staff and Committee for organizing the evening so well.
