Community Music Day at Knightsbridge Village 19th April 2016

With over 100 people enjoying the music and convivial conversation, a wonderful day was had by one and all and including around 20 of the Club's members. A big thank you to our host for the Day, Margaret Black, who lives in this lovely lifestyle village and a big thanks also to our Events Manager, Diane Lyons, for organizing the event for us. Everybody seemed to think this was one of our best Community Music/Coffee Days. The Club thanks also the management of Knightsbridge Village and their cafeteria staff for permitting our sharing the gorgeous facilities.

Club Night 5th April 2016

April Club Night had to be one of the best evenings we have had. With a near full house, and wonderful music both in the first half by our talented members and then in the second-half with our special guest artist from Kobe, Japan, Reiko Noda. Reiko played the Clavinova superbly with a mixture of easy listening and piano classics. The audience was spellbound! We are very grateful to our member, Taka Iida, for introducing Reiko to our Club. Taka even did a duet with Reiko on the Clavinova together - wonderful stuff. A friend of Reiko's was on vacation with her from Kobe also. Keiko gave us a two minute demonstration of Tai Chi to the accompaniment of  Reiko -  very beautiful and graceful.

A big thank you to all our artists on the night and to our special guest artist, Reiko Noda. As always, the Club could not function effectively without the assistance of the Committee that work tirelessly and with much dedication to bring the best experience to the evenings.
