Coffee Day at Park Lane Village 21st June 2016

A great Coffee/Community Day at Park Lane Retirement Village. Some great music by our talented members and an enthusiastic audience with the residents enjoying the music. A big thanks to Elaine at Park Lane Village and Diane Lyons for organizing the day and making it so successful. The residents must have enjoyed the music as Diane was asked for us to book Park Lane in for next year!

Club Night 7th June 2016

What a magic evening of music! A near full house were treated to some of the best music you could possibly envisage. Our members did a great job in the first-half to prepare us for our special guest artists in the second-half: Denise Gunson (arrival music); Audrey Henden; Dorothy Waddel with Julia Bissett (vocals) and Leslie Clapperton (vocals); and last but certainly not least Rob Powell who gave us an extended mini-concert demonstrating the versatility of the Club's Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509. After an enjoyable refreshments break we were ready and eager for our very special guest artists: Ben Fernandez on piano; Jason Orme on drums; John Grogan (vocals); and Amrita Bhende (vocals). A great atmosphere for World class music and thoroughly enjoyed by our members, visitors and our guest artists as well!
