Coffee Day this month was at Settlers Village in Albany where our host, Barbara McNab, resides. The weather was lovely and the music was full-on from 10.30 am through to 3.30 pm. One of the highlights was the Settlers Ukelele Band that contributed some great Pacifica type music. A special big thank you to Barbara McNab our host and Diane Lyons our Events Manager for organising the day.

Club Night 7th July 2015
A DIY evening where our members were the 'stars' and how well they all played too! A cold, wet evening outside but warm inside with some really hot music played! John Beales played the arrival music to get the evening off to a great start. Hana Tani then played the Clavinova most splendidly - wow all that talent and still only 10 years old! To finish off Hana's slot, she was joined by mum, Yuko, and they played a couple of duets - super stuff. Gordon Sutherland followed on Colin Crann's Korg Pa3X and followed by Warren Levick on Clavinova with a theme of old TV songs- very nice. After the break, we were entertained by Colin Crann on his Korg Pa3X (76 note version) and followed by Peter Herrick on his Yamaha Tyros 5. To finish the evening, Denise and Brian Gunson entertained us on Clavinova and electric guitar - lovely touch Denise and well supported by some great guitar playing by Brian. A big thank you to the Committee for making the evening go so well. The new seat cushions went down well too - one must be comfortable to enjoy ones music!
