Mid-Year Luncheon/Coffee Day 23rd August 2016

One of those magic Coffee Days saw the Club at a lovely venue at Knightsbridge Village where we were hosted by one of our Committee Members, Margaret Black, who lives at this up-market village. With 8 keyboard brought along we were treated to some wonderful music which started at 10.45 am and carried on until about 3.15 pm. The Village Caterers did us proud with a wonderful lunch served in the main dining room with background music played by our members on the Kawai grand piano.

A big thank you to our host, Margaret Black and our Secretary, Delyse Whorwood, who controlled the lunch bookings. As always our Events Manager, Diane Lyons, did a great job in the background to make this a very memorable day. The Club is very appreciative to the pro-active Management at Knightsbridge Village for sharing their wonderful facilities for our members.

Club Night 2nd August 2016

What a special night of fun and music! The first-half of the programme was provided by four of our members, Roy Steen, Warren Levick, and Rod and Nelleke Moffat. Great music all!

After a refreshing tea break, we were delighted to welcome back to the Club, Chris Larking. Chris is always very popular with his wonderful style of play and choice of repertoire. Chris played our Clavinova in the first part of his performance concentrating on piano. Then, Chris moved-on to a Yamaha PSR-S770 which he brought with him and giving us exciting full orchestrations. Definitely worth the effort to come out on a winter's evening  and enjoy the show!
