Coffee Day at Knightsbridge Village

What a lovely day spent entertaining the residents of this beautiful lifestyle village. We had a plentiful number of our members turn up to play or just enjoy the day. Playing at Knightsbridge Village was particularly good given that it is our new home for our monthly Club Night meetings in the Chelsea Room.

Club Night 3rd February 2026

What a great start to the Club's new year events! In our Club Rooms at the Chelsea Room, Knightsbridge Village, Windsor Park, North Shore, Auckland, NZ, we were entertained with a feast of music and styles. To start the evening off, Warren Levick played the arrival music on our Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809. In the first set, Graeme Webber entertained us with piano and vocals - great stuff! Next, Warren Levick gave us a 25-minute demonstration of the amazing sounds and layered sounds effects that our Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 is capable of. Some amazing styles/rhythms were used to show the power and this instrument. To finish the first set, Ian Jackson gave us a medley of songs on the Clavinova - lovely, thank you Ian.

After the raffle and refreshments break, our guest artists dazzled us with their Concert. The theme of the Concert was a trip around the world with appropriate songs from many countries and Continents. The Concert carried on for well over an hour, but nobody wanted to go home as the music and atmosphere was so good! The trio was made up of: Ben Fernandez on piano; Joshua Fernandez on percussion, cajon and clarinet; and Maria O'Flaherty on vocals and percussion effects. An evening to remember.
