Coffee Day 18th June 2019

What a wonderful day we enjoyed at Park Lane Village. Beautiful weather, lush surroundings, enthusiastic residents, lovery food from the cafeteria and most of all magnificent music from our talented members. We had a Korg Pa4X keyboard and a Korg Pa300 to choose from together with a very nice Schimmel grand piano!

It was especially nice that both Taka Iida and Yuko Tani took time off work to pop-in and play for us. Yuko played the Schimmel grand piano and Taka played his magnificent Yamaha Electone Stagea keyboard with two manuals and pedalboard. Great stuff.

A big thank you to to Committee Members who helped the day go well: Delyse, Russ, Kay, and Diane in particular.

Club Night 4th June 2019

A good attendance came out on this cold evening (but cosy warm inside) to enjoy 7 of our members playing for us. A great variety of styles, instruments and songs provided a thoroughly entertaining evening. Players were: Diane Lyons (arrival music and a performance) on a Korg Pa4X; Linus Treefoot playing and singing along with his Korg Havian 30; Peter Longbottom playing his Korg Pa600; Audrey Henden playing the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509; Gordon Sutherland  playing his Korg Pa4X; John Holster playing the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509; and Len Hancy singing along to backing tracks from his computer.

A big thank you to the Committee for making the evening go so smoothly and pleasantly. A special thanks for Diane Lyons for not only booking the 7 players but being our MC for the evening.
