Coffee Day at Northbridge Village 19th July 2016

What a lovely Village and fantastic atmosphere for our July Coffee Day at Northbridge Village. Although the number of players was down a little from normal we experienced some wonderful music, great jocularity, and, a great lunch to boot from the excellent cuisine provided from the kitchen. The residents had been looking forward to our return trip to the Village and from their enthusiastic response it appears they thoroughly enjoyed the day. A big thank you to Pat and Jim Nicholson from the Village for facilitating the Day as well as a big thank you to our Events Manager, Diane Lyons, for co-coordinating the event. Delyse Whorwood and Margaret Black did a great job on the front desk as well promoting the Club and selling lots of raffle tickets!

Club Night 5th July 2016

What a lovely evening of music with all the players including our guest artists being members of the Club. In the first half of the programme, Ron Clingin and Diane Lyons shared the honours to provide the arrivals music. Performances were then given by Hana Tani on the Clavinova, Claude Moffat on the Clavinova, Taka Iida on his Yamaha Electone D-Deck, and Diane Lyons played and sang using her Yamaha PSR-3000 keyboard. After a refreshing tea break and a good 'natter' the audience was ready to be thoroughly entertained by our guest artists, Jan and Kevin Johnston who came all the way from Algies Bay to give the concert. Jan was playing her trusty Korg Pa1X whilst Kevin played his Crafter acoustic guitar.
