What a great night of music! A goodish turn-out of members and guests on this cold winter heating. However there was plenty of heat inside with both the heaters and hot music!
To get the evening rolling, Ian Jackson played the arrival music on the Clavinova and what great music. In the first-half we were entertained by Patrick McMillan, Barbara Powell and Rob Powell on the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509. Also, Peter Jackson brought his Yamaha PSR-S950 along and added vocals to his playing.
After a refreshments break, we were wonderfully entertained by our guest artist, Mark Shiloh on the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509. What a great mixture of styles of light jazz with lots of improvisation and even a touch of fusion!
A big thank you to the Committee and helpers for making the evening such a success.
