The start of our Club Night was taken up with the AGM. This took up the first half of the evening due to an interactive discussion about use of Club funds and possible upgrade of our Clavinova.
After the refreshments break, we were entertained very well by three of our members. First up, Claudette Wheeler played some lovely classical piano pieces for us. Second, Len Hancy sang for us with orchestral backing tracks and using a theme of St. Patrick's Day (17th March upcoming). Finally, Patrick McMillan played the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509 for us with his usual easy flowing style rendering traditional popular songs.
