A great night of wonderful music provided by both our talented members and by our special guest artist, Mark Shiloh. To start the evening, Roy Steen played the arrival music on our Clavinova. The formal part of the evening commenced with Mary Elvin playing the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 with a variety of 'bubbly' fun music and she played superbly. Gordon Sutherland then played four numbers on his Korg Pa5X arranger keyboard which is newly released. Gordon played and sang two numbers and two instrumental songs. What great, rich tones and clarity from this latest top-of-the-range arranger keyboard. To finish the first half Warren Levick played the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 with some Billy Joel songs including a personal favourite of the writer, Leningrad (sad but haunting and unfortunately very topical currently with the war in Ukraine).

After a good catch-up chat and refreshments in the dining room downstairs, we were entertained magnificently by our old friend, Mark Shiloh, who played our Yamana Clavinova CVP-809. Mark played a variety of styles and eras from Scott Joplin, George Shearing, and Stevie Wonder amongst others. Wonderfully talented pianist. Thank you, Mark.
