A great evening of variety and style of music was enjoyed by our members and visitors. The evening started with arrival music played by Brian McMurray on our Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809. We had three members play for us in the first set and namely: Claude Moffat; Warren Levick; and Roy Steen. Claude and Warren played our Clavinova digital ensemble piano whilst Roy brought along his Korg Pa300 arranger keyboard. All thoroughly entertaining - thank you guys.
After the raffle and a refreshments break, we were entertained by our guest artist, Mark Shiloh, who played our Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 very masterfully and giving us a wide variety of popular music that was most appreciated and enjoyed by the audience. Mark made use of the styles on the Yamaha for some of his songs and thus we were treated to full band/orchestra arrangements - wonderful stuff. Mark has been a friend of the Club for over 10 years now and is always a firm favourite of our members.
