A great night of music with a really good attendance to enjoy the wonderful music. Arrival music was provided by Ken Mahy on his Korg Pa1X keyboard and followed by Merv Adair on the Clavinova. Merv certainly challenged us with a play and then ask what the song or composer was. Peter Jackson then played his Yamaha PSR-S950 with added vocals. Following Peter, Julia Bissett sang for us and accompanied by Dorothy Waddel on the Clavinova. To finish the first half, Diane Lyons played her Yamaha PSR3000 with some great melodies and tempting the audience into a sing-along with some of the numbers.
In the second-half, our guest artist, Takashi Iida (Taka) brought along his two-manual keyboard with pedalboard. Taka played 11 songs for us with a great variety of genres - wonderful music and wonderful musicianship.
A big thank you to the Committee and members who helped with kitchen/desk duties.
