Club Night 5th April 2022

A good attendance for The North Shore Music and Keyboard Club's Club Night including a lot of new faces pursuant to our Media Manager's efforts to promote the Club events through social media and networking. To start the evening, we were entertained by Roy Steen who played the Club's Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 ensemble piano. The first performance was by our Club President, Gordon Sutherland, who brought along his Korg Pa4X arranger keyboard. Gordon played a tribute song to one of our past members, Peter Jackson, with Peter singing and Gordon accompanying with orchestration. See video below. Next up was our Club Treasurer and Media Manager, Warren Levick who played some nice arrangements on the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809. To finish the first half, Ian Jackson played us a medley selection again using the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 - very nice too!
After the Raffle and a refreshments break, we were entertained by Denise Gunson. Denise is a professional pianist and we are proud to say she is also a member of the Club. Denise gave us a great selection of songs from modern to Gershwin and using both straight piano and some style arrangements. Lovely music as always, thank you Denise.
