Coffee Day at the Club 19th August 2012

What a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable way to spend a wintery Sunday afternoon! Good company, good food and a great variety of magic music. The whiteboard seems to be working well and ensuring those that wish to play get a fifteen minute slot (provided they turn-up early enough to get their names on the board that is!). Our catering manager, Delyse Whorwood, had the dreaded lurgy and thought it expedient not to come along and therefore avoid spreading her infection. However, her call of duty meant that she still prepared a brilliant spread of cheeseboard, dip, grapes and cake for us to enjoy on a side table with the tea and coffee – thank you Delyse. It was cabaret style so everybody just helped themselves to refreshments as and when they wished. A big thank you to all that helped with the organization on the day including: Peter Brophy, Peter Littlejohn, Lizza Littlejohn, Jeanette Beamish, Colin and Yvonne Crann (bringing the vitals from Delyse's place) amongst others. Jeanette Beamish and Peter Littlejohn spent a considerable amount of time cataloguing the sheet music and pricing same. So check-out the Trading Table next Club Night!
